Today, as directed by my Area Manager (who has in fact taught me nearly everything I know about AVON)... I had a "planning day".
This has been superb, a chance to put my business in order and work SMART.
I've caught up with all the active Representatives on my team and the newbies. As well as asking how they are getting on and if I can offer any help, I have asked them quite directly:
"How much orders do you have?" and "What's the total?" and "Do you think you can get your books around to another set of customers before Monday?". I've motivated them, enthused them and supported them.
Currenty my team shows as having 17 members, but a couple of those have joined and changed their minds, and unfortunately one was declined by Avon, really there are 11 Active Earning Growing Representatives in that number. 3 have already reached their HOV, 4 have reached their MOV and the others have yet to total up their orders for me, but DO have orders!
I've followed up any outstanding leads today and am looking forward to going through my first Sales Leader Report with my Area Manager next week.
I do have to pop off now to give books to one of my newbies - the others I have already done that during this week. And, I should really have done some further "planning" for myself - organizing a bit of a timetable to get on with recruitment, follow up appointments and team support for the coming weeks (now that I have a bit more of an idea of what is involved) - I guess I might get onto that tonight.
All good :)
